Srinagar, July 17 -- According to government order, the Kendra will function as a single-window platform to receive, assess, and process grievances submitted by serving soldiers or their authorised representatives.

The Kendra will also facilitate direct appointments between soldiers and relevant civil or police officers in their home districts, follow up on unresolved matters, and ensure quick redressal. A performance dashboard will be maintained for real-time monitoring, and quarterly reports will be submitted to the Lieutenant Governor's office.
