India, Dec. 26 -- Reinforcing its commitment to the Jammu and Kashmir Government's flagship Mission YUVA programme, J&K Bank on Friday conducted a Special Disbursal Day across the Union Territory, fast-tracking credit delivery to approved beneficiaries in a mission mode.

The single-day drive, observed as "Mission YUVA Disbursal Day", culminated with the disbursement of 1,263 cases-surpassing the target of 1,111-marking a significant step towards empowering youth through self-employment and entrepreneurship. The successful conclusion of the drive was symbolically marked by the pressing of a button by the Bank's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Amitava Chatterjee.
