Srinagar, June 3 -- Integrated with the JK Revenue Portal, the new services will allow citizens to obtain records digitally, eliminating the need for in-person visits to the Central Record Rooms. According to officials, the initiative is expected to reduce wait times, enhance transparency, and cut down on paperwork.
The department said that applications can now be submitted online through the portaljkrevenue.nic.in, accessible via computers, smartphones, or tablets. This shift is part of a broader effort to modernise administrative processes and improve efficiency in the Revenue Department.
