Srinagar, Dec. 11 -- As part of smooth flight operations, Srinagar International Airport facilitated the departure of 180 Umrah passengers to Ahmedabad on Thursday, ensuring seamless check-in and boarding arrangements in coordination with IndiGo Airlines.
Airport authorities wished the pilgrims an "auspicious journey," stressing harmony and the spirit of travel.
"Religion does not teach us to harbor enmity among ourselves; we are Hindi, our homeland is Hindustan," the airport shared in a post as the passengers departed in IndiGo flight 6E 6266,reported news agency KNO
The departure comes on a day when the airport faced operational challenges, leading to the cancellation of at least five flights.
