Srinagar, July 28 -- Earlier this year, a Kashmiri family stepped onto a crowded platform at Mumbai's Dadar station. They had come with a toddler in their arms and a medical file in their bag. The city, vast and fast, offered no direction.
Soon, they were stranded, lost between streets, and unsure whom to call or where to go.
Someone in their wider network forwarded them a number. Within hours, help arrived.
The number belonged to a member of the JK Mumbai Circle, a growing network of Kashmiri professionals across India's financial capital.
That evening, the family was offered a place to stay, connected with doctors, and brought a home-cooked meal.
