Srinagar, Feb. 8 -- Srinagar- Zojila Pass, an important mountain pass linking Ladakh to Kashmir and beyond, is situated at an elevation of 11,575 feet. In a historic achievement, it has remained open during February for the first time ever, despite the region's notoriously harsh winter conditions.
This remarkable achievement is credited to the tireless efforts of the local administration, district authorities, the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), and the Indian Army, who have persevered despite subzero temperatures and challenging weather conditions.
