Srinagar, June 16 -- According to the MeT office, isolated thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are expected at several places in the region till June 20. On June 21 and 22, parts of the Union Territory may witness isolated heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds and lightning.

"There is a possibility of a brief spell of rain, thundershower with gusty winds at isolated to scattered places till June 20," said Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, Director of the Meteorological Department. From June 21 to 23, generally cloudy weather with intermittent rain is likely at many locations across J&K.

Despite the weather fluctuations, farmers have been advised to continue their agricultural activities as conditions remain largely favorable.
