Srinagar, Feb. 24 -- An official said that a fire engulfed at least three residential houses in Eidgah, Srinagar.

On receiving information, soon the fire service rushed to the spot to contain the fire, official said adding during the operation, one fireman sustained injuries, reported news agency JKNS.

The firefighting operation was ongoing when reports last came in.
