Srinagar, Feb. 20 -- In a statement, the police said that it has arrested an accused person for his involvement in extortion case following a detailed investigation. The accused person had a history of over 30 criminal cases, and had previously been booked under the PSA twice.

According to police spokesman, a written complaint was received by Police Post Bagyas on 10th January 2025 wherein the applicant namely Tufail Ahmad Badar son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Badarpora Qoimoh Kulgam stated that he was at Shireen Bagh Super Speciality hospital with his patient.
