Srinagar, Nov. 13 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday said that while security forces remain determined to dismantle the terror ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir, society too must come forward and shoulder its responsibility in combating terrorism.

Addressing a special convocation ceremony at the University of Jammu, the Lieutenant Governor said terrorism is a "multifaceted challenge" that cannot be fought by security forces alone.

"Society must actively counter terrorism because it is a multifaceted challenge and society plays a critical role in recognizing and reporting suspicious terror activities and counter the radicalization efforts," he said.
