Srinagar, March 3 -- Mehraj-ud-Din, General Secretary of the Mutton Dealers Association said that around 30 to 35 trucks loaded with sheep arrive in Kashmir every day, each carrying approximately 140 to 150 sheep.

"The stocks are sufficient in theKashmirValley, and people are purchasing good-quality mutton. Supplies continue to arrive regularly," he said, as per news agency KNO.

Din further added that the price of mutton remains stable at Rs 700 per kg, with no complaints of overpricing reported so far. "The price of mutton has been steady, and we have not received any complaints about overcharging," he said.
