Srinagar, July 11 -- According to an official spokesperson, searches were carried out in Jammu, Doda, and Handwara as part of the investigation under FIR No. 12/2022, registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The raids were aimed at gathering key evidence to uncover what officials described as a cross-border conspiracy involving the use of cryptocurrency to finance terrorist activities and destabilize peace in the region.
The operation also focused on identifying individuals allegedly involved in inciting youth against the Union of India and threatening national security.
