Srinagar, Feb. 14 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department announced the winter break on December 20, 2024, for degree colleges in the winter zones of the Kashmir division. According to the official notification, degree colleges in the Kashmir division and those in the winter zone of the Jammu division observed winter vacations from December 27, 2024, to February 14, 2025.

Additionally, the government had declared a winter break for colleges in the summer zones of the Jammu region from January 1 to January 10, 2025.

Meanwhile, more than 2 lakh students of the 10th and 12th standards are set to appear in the annual regular board exams starting tomorrow.
