Srinagar, Nov. 1 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday laid the foundation stone for the widening and four-laning of the Boulevard Road from Nehru Park to Kral Sangri, marking a major step in strengthening Srinagar's scenic and tourism infrastructure.

The project, being executed by the Public Works (R&B) Department at an estimated cost of Rs. 19.94 crore, will upgrade a key 5-km stretch along the iconic Dal Lake, improving connectivity and easing traffic congestion.
