Srinagar, May 23 -- According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir will head the committee, which includes the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, the Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, and officials from multiple departments.
The committee has been tasked with ensuring a smooth, time-bound transfer of the property, situated on the banks of Dal Lake. The hotel, inaugurated in 1984, was originally a joint venture between the J&K government and the Hotel Corporation of India, under a 99-year lease agreement.
