Srinagar, Aug. 13 -- According to the tribunal order, the applicants had challenged the government decision to revert them to their previous positions, arguing that the move was arbitrary and without justification.

"Notice was issued on 29.07.2025, granting two weeks' time to the respondents to file their reply. However, no such reply has been filed by the respondents till date."

The order records that counsel for respondent No. 1, Satinder Singh, and Rais Ud Din Ganaie, DAG, sought six weeks' further time to file the reply, which was accordingly granted.
