Srinagar, March 7 -- While defending his government's vision, he also reiterated his strong stance against the Union Territory (UT) model in the Country.
Omar Abdullah acknowledged the Opposition's expected criticism but described the Budget as a gift to the people of J&K. "I don't expect anything but criticism of this Budget from the Opposition. This Budget is a love letter to the people of Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
He said that he would never present the Budget again while observing Ramzan fast.
Abdullah said this was the first budget of the J&K Assembly after 2018 and his first Budget as the finance minister.
