Srinagar, March 5 -- Srinagar- As Ramazan begins, many Muslims are fasting, praying, and reflecting both physically and mentally. However, some with pre-existing medical conditions are uncertain about the potential health implications of fasting.

While medical experts acknowledge the health benefits of fasting including regulated blood pressure, controlled blood sugar levels, and improved gut health they strongly advise individuals with severe medical conditions to consult their doctor before making a decision.

In a joint advisory, doctors and religious leaders emphasize that those with serious health conditions should prioritize their well-being and follow medical guidance while still embracing the spiritual essence of Ramazan.
