Srinagar, Sept. 20 -- District Police Anantnag on Saturday issued a public advisory prohibiting the use of drones, UAVs, or any other aerial devices within the district without prior approval from the competent authority, citing prevailing security concerns.

The advisory, issued in the interest of public safety, stated that individuals, institutions, media personnel, and event organizers must seek permission well in advance before operating drones.

Police warned that any unauthorized flying would attract strict action under relevant legal provisions, and such equipment may be seized.
