Srinagar, Feb. 4 -- According to SSCL officials, the bridge's key structural components, including its pillars and girders, have been successfully installed. The next major phase involves developing a plaza with seating arrangements on the opposite side of the road, which is currently delayed due to pending shop relocations.

"The girder placement is complete, and overall, about 40% of the work has been done," an SSCL official said.

"We are now awaiting the relocation of shops on the other side to proceed with constructing the plaza, which will complement the bridge's functionality."
