Srinagar, July 4 -- Allowed for the third consecutive year, the traditional procession commenced at 5 AM from Guru Bazar, moved through Budshah Kadal and MA Road, and concluded at Dalgate-covering a key stretch of the city despite the sweltering conditions.

Ambulances stationed along the route served as mobile clinics and shelters, while emergency tents, water points, and oral rehydration stations were set up to provide immediate relief. Water sprinklers were also deployed at key locations to keep participants cool.
