Srinagar, July 8 -- According to officials, 93,342 pilgrims had visited the sacred site by July 7. On the sixth day of the Yatra alone, an additional 18,633 pilgrims offered prayers at the 3,880-metre-high shrine, bringing the cumulative total to 1,11,975.

Today's footfall included 13,010 male pilgrims, 4,118 females, 256 children, 174 sadhus, 26 sadhvis, 2 transgender individuals, and 347 security personnel.

Officials confirmed that the pilgrimage is proceeding smoothly from both Pahalgam and Baltal routes, aided by favourable weather and extensive security arrangements.
