Srinagar, June 2 -- The Director General of Police (DGP) emphasized the use of advanced technologies to boost surveillance and improve threat detection capabilities during a joint meeting with police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) officers at the Police Control Room in Kashmir.

The meeting reviewed security arrangements not only for the Amarnath Yatra but also for the upcoming Eid-Ul-Adha and other events. Officers briefed the DGP on the proposed security plans, highlighting the importance of seamless coordination among various forces.

Prabhat instructed strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and stressed proactive efforts to dismantle terror networks and ensure robust safety for participants.
