India, Nov. 6 -- Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Aga Muntazir Mehdi on Thursday said he is contesting the upcoming Budgam bypolls to "undo the past wrongs and blunders" committed against the people of Jammu and Kashmir over the last seven decades.
Addressing supporters, Mehdi accused the National Conference (NC) of repeatedly failing to deliver on its promises. "The NC has disappointed the people of Jammu and Kashmir for over 70 years," he said. "I have entered politics to undo the wrongs done to Budgam. My manifesto is entirely Budgam-specific."
