India, Feb. 23 -- Security forces have dismantled a seven-member module of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district, concluding a year-and-a-half-long pursuit that saw 17 engagements across the Kishtwar-Udhampur belt.

Three remaining members of the self-styled "Israel Group", including its commander code-named Saifullah, were killed in an encounter in the Chatroo area on Sunday, officials said.

The Army described the development as a "massive blow to the terror network" and said it marked the culmination of a relentless 326-day high-altitude joint operation conducted in extremely challenging terrain.
