Srinagar, March 10 -- Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was among the first to express his anger, calling the event "outrageous" and "obscene." He rightly questioned how such an event could be allowed during Ramazan. However, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, whose government has come under fire over the issue, was quick to clarify that the administration had no role in organizing the event. Responding to the outrage, the CM said the shock and anger are totally understandable.
