Srinagar, Sept. 24 -- As many as twenty four people succumbed to coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, taking the number of fatalities due to virus in the Union Territory to 1088.

While fourteen more Covid-19 deaths were reported from Jammu division, the remaining ten were confirmed by the officials in Kashmir valley.

According to officials, a 70-year-old woman from Bemina, a 65-year-old woman from Chanapora and a 72-year-old man from Nishat died at the Chest Diseases hospital here, one of the exclusive facilities for the management of the covid-19 patients.

Seven of the deaths were reported at SKIMS Soura and included a 46-year-old man from Batmaloo, a 60-year-old woman from Malabagh Srinagar, a 68-year-old man from Fateh Kada...
