SRINAGAR, Nov. 26 -- Overnight Pulwama encounter ended on Tuesday morning with the killing of two local militants. A gunfight between militants and Government Forces erupted at Pachhar Drabgam village of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Monday night when joint forces of Army and CRPF stopped a Tata Mobile. The militants present in the vehicle opened fire, ensuing a gun battle.
In the initial exchange of fire a militant was killed while reinforcement was called in to track down another militant.
Official said that light system was installed in the area to stop militants from escaping from the spot. They added that contact with hiding militant was established during the middle of the night and intermittent exchange of fire continued till...
