Srinagar, Sept. 16 -- Coronavirus cases continue to show an upward trend as 170 more people tested positive for the virus on Thursday in Jammu and Kashmir while 98 others recovered from the deadly infection in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.

According to the officials, 129 fresh cases of novel coronavirus were reported from Kashmir Valley and the remaining 41 from Jammu division thus taking the total number of people infected since the outbreak of pandemic in J&K last year to 327466.

Giving district-wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 70, Baramulla 12, Budgam 27, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 5, Bandipora 3 and Ganderbal 7 new cases of Covid. Three districts of south Kashmir, including Anantnag, Kulgam and Shopian...
