Srinagar, Jan. 30 -- Srinagar- A concerning discovery revealed that 37 out of 40 spring water samples from Ganderbal district are contaminated with bacteria. This finding has caused alarm among residents, environmentalists, and officials. In response, the Jal Shakti (PHE) Rural Water Supply Division has advised people to refrain from using spring water for drinking until further notice.

Environmental activists and experts have identified various causes of contamination, urging immediate action to restore these essential water sources.
