Srinagar, Feb. 5 -- In 2021-22, a total of 3,278 kilometers of road length was completed, enhancing connectivity in rural areas. The figures were shared by Kamlesh Paswan, the Minister of State (MoS) in the Ministry of Rural Development, in response to a query in the Lok Sabha.

In 2023, a total of 1,217 kilometers of road length was sanctioned, with 464 kilometers completed. For the year 2023-24, 535 kilometers were sanctioned, and 956 kilometers were completed, indicating a steady push toward improving infrastructure across the region, the reply reads.
