Srinagar, June 28 -- Only light intermittent rainfall was witnessed at isolated places between June 25 and 27. However, the weather has once again turned dry, leading to a rise in temperatures across the Valley.
Srinagar experienced a sunny and hot day with the mercury settling at 32.3degC-several degrees above normal for this time of the year.
A local Meteorological Department (MeT) official said that there is no major rainfall expected in the immediate future. However, light to moderate showers accompanied by thundershowers are likely at scattered places across Jammu and Kashmir till June 30.
