SRINAGAR, Nov. 14 -- Weather is likely to improve from Monday after

Kashmir Weather, a private forecaster, said several areas have witnessed the season's first snowfall.

"Snow has been reported from many areas for the first time this season. These includeKralpora Kupwara, Pazipora Kupwara, Tangdhar, Khan Sahib Budgam, etc," it said.

Higher reaches in north Kashmir have received up to 2 feet of snow.

Kashmir Weather said improvement will start from today afternoon and by evening weather would have again turned dry at most places. "Intensity till then will be maximum over parts of north Kashmir. Some places in higher reaches can receive another 12 inches of snow," it said.

The forecaster said the weather will remain dry till Friday.
