Nigeria, March 9 -- Amid intensified military operations and vigilante crackdowns in Zamfara State, armed bandits operating in Bukuyum Local Government Area (LGA) have reportedly relocated to Bani town in Kwara State, according to intelligence gathered from a captured insurgent.

According to Zagazola Makama, a security analyst with an understanding of insurgency in the North-east, he said sources disclosed that the terrorist, apprehended in Kyaram community by vigilante forces, provided crucial intelligence on the current status and movements of the criminal group responsible for numerous attacks in the region.
