Nigeria, May 16 -- Troops of the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army, alongside their counterparts from Operation Safe Haven, have successfully neutralized two bandits and recovered 1,000 cattle in Jebjeb Village, located in the Karim-Lamido local government area of Taraba State.
Captain Olubodunde Oni, Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations for the 6 Brigade, stated that the operation was initiated following credible intelligence about armed bandits crossing from Plateau State into Taraba on approximately 30 motorcycles.
"The criminal elements launched a cattle rustling operation targeting a Fulani settlement near Jebjeb Village," Oni reported.
