Nigeria, Nov. 14 -- In an intensified operations to flush out insurgency across the country, the troops of the Armed Forces of Nigeria have neutralised scores of terrorists, rescued 67 kidnapped victims, and arrested 94 criminal suspects in two weeks.
Maj.-Gen. Olatokunbo Bello, the Director of Defence Media Operations, gave the update on Friday in Abuja, saying troops recovered large quantities of arms and ammunition, including automatic rifles, machine guns, RPG tubes, locally fabricated weapons, and IED-making materials, in addition to destroying criminal camps and logistics bases.
