Nigeria, Oct. 29 -- President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reversed presidential pardon granted to some inmates with the record of murder and drug peddling.

According to fresh list released on Wednesday, Maryam Sanda, the murder of her husband who was also among the list of presidential pardon has been removed from the fresh list, following public outrage.

Bayo Onanuga, Presidential spokesman, released the fresh list on Wednesday.

According to him, some names had been dropped following consultations with the Council of State and public opinion on the matter.
