Nigeria, June 22 -- President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow and outrage over a series of deadly incidents that have rocked several parts of Nigeria in recent days, including a suicide bombing in Borno, the lynching of travellers in Plateau, and an explosion in Kano.

In a statement he signed on Sunday, President Tinubu described the attacks as "unconscionable" and declared that such acts of violence against innocent citizens "must not stand."
