Nigeria, Oct. 14 -- Three Kaduna house of representatives members on Tuesday, announced their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The defectors, Abdulkarim Ahmed (Kaduna South), Aliyu Mustapha (Ikara/Kubau) and Sadiq Ango-Abdullahi (Sabongari) announced their defections in three separate letters read by the Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas during Tuesday's plenary.

The three members, while citing what they called "The lingering crisis in the PDP", said their decision is the need to key into the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu as reasons for swapping their political platforms.
