Nigeria, March 4 -- Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) on Tuesday disclosed that 4,163 out of 5,290 applicants who made it to the interview stage were successfully screened and in the 1,800 jobs vacant.
TESCOM Chairman Mallam Bello Taoheed made this known while commending all the applicants who took part in its recruitment process, saying the attention the programme received underscores high public confidence in the administration of the state Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
He said, "The difference in the two figures comes from the applicants who did not turn up for the interview or did not meet the well-stated criteria for the screening."
