Nigeria, Oct. 28 -- The Insecurity battling the country has taken a new turn following a fresh threat by the terrorists to bomb National Assembly complex in Abuja
The chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Internal Security, Garba Muhammad, made this disclosure at a public hearing on a bill seeking to establish the Legislative Security Directorate, which seeks to enhance security management, protect lawmakers, staff members and visitors to the nation's parliament.
Muhammad said that the complex has been facing security challenges, including cases of car and motorcycle theft, vandalism, fake identity cards, and infiltration by unregistered visitors.
