Nigeria, May 5 -- The Kwara State Government, through the Ministry of Works, has disclosed that road projects previously delayed due to variation in costs would soon resume, as the issues have now been resolved.
The Commissioner for Works Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo, made this known on Wednesday while presenting the Ministry's scorecard at the Q1 2025 Ministerial Press Briefing, held at the Conference Room of the Finance Ministry, in Ilorin, the state capital.
Highlighting the Ministry's success in the last three months, Olododo announced the construction of a 70-meter flagpole, the tallest in West Africa, on the iconic Wahab Folawiyo Unity Road, describing the initiative as a symbolic of Kwara's rising prominence and pride.
