Nigeria, Oct. 9 -- In a bid to restore security in Southern part of Kwara and other of the North Central state, the Senate on Wednesday, asked the federal government to establish a permanent military base in the Kwara South Senatorial District near the forest belts of Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state.
The decision followed the adoption of a motion sponsored by Ashiru Oyelola (APC-Kwara South) at the plenary regarding the urgent need to address insecurity in the local government area.
