According to reports, the updated policy mandates that travellers must now book a confirmed return transfer along with hotel reservations before their tourist or transit visa can be processed. This requirement adds an additional layer of scrutiny to the visa application process.
In a significant change to eligibility, the new rules specify that only females or families are permitted to apply for visas. Male travellers are excluded unless they are accompanied by family members, signaling a shift in policy aimed at curbing potential overstays.
