Nigeria, Sept. 8 -- The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has revealed that throughout August 2025, the Nigeria Police Force made a remarkable 1,950 arrests and successfully rescued 141 victims from various crimes.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) also shone a light on its achievements by securing 588 convictions and recovering a total of N21.06 billion.

During the second monthly Joint Press Security Briefing, NOA Director General Lanre Issa-Onilu shared these noteworthy results, underscoring the collective efforts of Nigeria's security agencies in addressing crime and ensuring public safety.
