Nigeria, April 4 -- The death toll in coordinated gunmen attacks on several communities in Bokkos local government area of Plateau State has tragically risen to 52. This increase follows the recovery of an additional 40 corpses of victims who were killed by the assailants during rampaging attacks on Wednesday and Thursday nights, prompting search and rescue operations in the area.

According to reports from LEADERSHIP, the attackers targeted the communities of Mangor Tamiso, Daffo, Manguna (Tagai), Hurti, and Tadai on the night of April 2, 2025, firing indiscriminately on innocent residents.
