Nigeria, Sept. 29 -- No fewer than 1,004,132 Nigerians have successfully completed their continuous voter registration (CVR) in buid up of the 2027 general elections.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), while announcing this on Monday in it's weekly update, disclosed that the nationwide online pre-registration of voters, which commenced on August 18, 2025, before its physical registrations that commenced the following week on August 25, saw the commission completed registrations, 537, 743 of pre-registered online before completing the process in-person.

The electoral body noted that the remaining 466,389 started and completed the registration process physically.
