Nigeria, May 24 -- The National Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has launched an investigation into the crash-landing of an aircraft at Ilorin International Airport where two occupants of a Diamond training aircraft operated by the Aviation Training School, Ilorin, sustained injury and were hospitalised following the crash-landing of the aircraft.

In a statement released on Friday night, Mrs. Bimbo Oladeji, the Director of Public Affairs and Family Assistance of the Bureau, confirmed that the incident occurred at 17:28 local time on May 23, 2025, during a simulated instrument approach on Runway 05.
