Nigeria, Sept. 18 -- Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the immediate admission of visually impaired girls into Queen Elizabeth Secondary School, Ilorin, with provisions for free education, feeding, and accommodation.
The initiative, announced by the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, is aimed at strengthening inclusivity and tackling the out-of-school challenge in the state.
According to the Commissioner, the policy reflects the government's commitment to reducing the number of out-of-school children while ensuring no child is left behind in the pursuit of education.
