Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have made significant arrests at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos, capturing two brothers, John Abugu (43) and Kenneth Abugu (31), for attempting to smuggle five kilograms of cocaine hidden within the walls of their suitcases.
The brothers claimed they were traveling to India for medical treatment, but their story unraveled during a thorough luggage search conducted by NDLEA officers, who discovered the concealed narcotics.
